Do I need an account?
No account for instant group rooms. You may need an account for private 1:1 calls and scheduling meetings with calendar.
Can RoomHex stop recording?
Hosts can enable controls that restrict platforms and block many known recording utilities. While no online tool can guarantee a participant won’t record by filming their screen, RoomHex reduces the risk and helps enforce your policy.
What is device watch?
An optional mode that attempts to detect hidden cameras/phones during a session. If risk is detected, the viewer’s screen turns black. This feature is opt‑in and best used for sensitive meetings.
Is there translation or captions?
Not yet. These are on our roadmap.
How big can meetings be?
Free supports up to 25 participants. Pro and Business raise the limits and include admin controls.
