Content-owner rights come first
A synchronized cinema is only responsible if it respects the people who own what is being shown. Smart Sync Cinema is designed so that content-owner policy and consent are applied before playback, not bolted on later. RoomHex does not encourage showing content you do not have the right to show, and the experience is built to support the owner's terms, including where and to whom a title may be played.
Alongside consent, the design includes modest content protection aimed at ordinary viewers, such as playback that goes through the session rather than exposing direct file links, and a playback audit. It is honest to say this defends against end users, not against every possible party, and RoomHex does not claim absolute protection. The aim is reasonable respect for owners, described plainly.
